The Preparation of a Superhydrophobic Fluorine Rubber Surface

Superhydrophobic materials have a good application prospect in self-cleaning, anti-fouling, anti-corrosion, and anti-freezing. However, creating large areas of simple, efficient, environmentally friendly superhydrophobic surfaces remains huge challenge. In this paper, surface preparation method is used based on 107 silicone rubber adhesive. A coating with micro/nano structure was constructed the fluorine rubber. The particle size groups HB-192V powder (mainly SiO2) were observed by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy scanning electron microscope (SEM). structures two kinds SEM, qualitatively analyzed X-ray diffraction (XRD). hydrophobic properties bouncing droplets contact angle measuring instrument high-speed camera. results show that water meter could reach an average 154.1°. prepared has better droplet bounce property.
